Description :
We are India, West Bengal based organization and we are looking for experienced and highly qualified service providers (From India Only) for our requirement of Document Scanning and Digitization services. Various types of estimated 60000 pages of old archival documents and 20000 Herbarium specimens will be scanned and digitized in duration of 6 months.
Scope of Work:
- The scanning and digitization will be done to the documents in such a way that it fully supports our systems.
- The service provider should ensure that quality of scanned imaged are enhanced up to the optimum level and required image enhancement activities like Deskew, Despackle, contrast ratio setting etc. has been done on the documents.
- Damaged documents and images will be scanned on high resolution i.e. 600 dpi or higher by the service provider.
- Documents/Herbarium which are either torn or not in a proper condition or illegible, should be converted in to machine readable text format (ASCII or Text mode) by OCR (Optical Character Recognization) Process or by data entry through keyboard typing by the service provider.
- The Documents and Images will be digitized in formats like TIFF latest version, JPEG latest version by the service provider.
Payment terms are negotiable. Interested service provider are requested to send their expression of interest to purchase the tender documents on or before January 30th, 2009 before 5:00 PM via courier and hand delivered only. The service provider will have to Pay 1000 INR in form of Demand Draft for tender documents. Security Deposit (Performance Security) will be 10% of the actual cost of the project after finalization of the Tender and the EMD (Earnest Money Deposit) will be 1,00,000 INR. This is onsite tender.
