We are USA based University and we are looking for experienced and qualified service providers for our requirement of Scanning Services for Learning Materials. We have approximately 30- 45 Books of various semesters which need to be scanned. The books will range from paperbacks to large textbooks and coffee table sized books. The contract duration is for the period of 03/04/2009 (or date of award) to 30/06/2010.
Scope of work:
- The books need to be scanned electronically into a TIFF image format at 300 DPI or 400 DPI for books with finer print.
- Scanned electronic files will be delivered in CD/DVD format.
- Service provider is required to cut the binding off the book using a machine cutter.
- Each chapter or section of books needs to scan in a different file.
- The turnaround should be no more than 3-4 business days.
We are looking for best proposals. Interested service providers are requested to send their proposals on or before April 3rd, 2009 by 5:00 PM via post, courier and hand delivered only. This tender is global and offsite. Service provider may have to visit our location for meetings and briefings. For more information please have a look on attachment.
